A hands-on gentle approach used to identify structural changes and rhythms in the body. The practice depends on detailed knowledge of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, paired with a highly developed sense of palpation (touch). It treats movement restrictions in your body tissues by removing restrictions to the natural flow of body fluids (lymphatic, vascular, and neurological), which must be liberated, preserved and maintained. When the body has no restrictions, it has the inherent ability to heal itself.

Osteopathy is based on all parts of the body functioning together in an integral manner. Not only can Osteopathy successfully treat problems with any joint in the body, but it can also help to rebalance any stresses or strains which can benefit the entire body. Whether it is sports injuries, ageing, illness, disease or poor posture, Osteopathy can help.

The practice of Osteopathy includes, but is not limited to Manual Therapy; Craniosacral Therapy; Lymphatic Drainage; Myofascial Release; Muscle Energy Technique and Nutrition.

Physiotherapy is an understanding of how and why movement and function take place. A physiotherapist will analyze the impact of injury, disease, disorders, or lifestyle on movement and function and aim to enhance or restore function of many of the body's systems. Their approach incorporates a broad range of physical therapy and physiological therapeutic interventions and aids.

Hands-on treatment may include moving joints in specific directions and at different speeds to regain movement (joint mobilization and manipulation), muscle stretching, passive movements of the affected body part, or having the patient move the body part against the therapist’s resistance to improve muscle activation and timing. Specific soft tissue techniques such as manual trigger point release may also be used to improve the mobility and function of tissue and muscles.

Our Physiotherapist may also incorporate acupuncture, dry needling, dry cupping and Gua Sha into treatments sessions.

Also, benefits include relief from pain, allergies, dizziness, insomnia, digestive issues, PMS, menopausal discomfort and more. Fire cupping may also be incorporated into your treatment.

A Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. Reiki is a holistic, light-touch, energy-based approach to healing. Reiki re-establishes a normal energy flow of ki (life force energy) which in turn can enhance and accelerate the body’s innate healing ability.  Reiki cannot do harm and cannot be manipulated.

Through a series of hand positions either directly on or just above the recipient's body, the energy worker flows Reiki from their hands. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotion, mind and spirit.  It can create several beneficial effects such as relaxation, feelings of peace and serenity. Some clients notice an increase in their level of energy and alertness, as well as a feeling of overall well-being.
